About
This is how Twin Falls gets a recreation center.
This movement is independent. It exists to fill the gap between what the city has managed to do and what the community actually needs.
Our approach
Honey, not vinegar
We're here to help the city move forward โ not criticize anyone who has worked on this. The rec center ad hoc committee has been grinding since 2017. We're here to add momentum, not friction.
Data over emotion
We're building a professional-grade feasibility study with real demographics, real comparable facilities, and real financial projections. City council members and business leaders should be able to take this seriously.
Community first
The public story is always about Twin Falls โ the families, seniors, athletes, and employers who would benefit. We exist to amplify community demand, not to push a personal agenda.
Urgency on purpose
The Event Center feasibility study went from committee formation to city council in under a year. We know what organized effort with urgency can accomplish. That's the model.
Who's behind this
Sinuhe Montoya
Rec'n Crew Lead ยท U.S. Army Veteran ยท Twin Falls, Idaho
Husband, father of two, Iraq War veteran, and Twin Falls resident. Sinuhe deployed with Charlie Company, 54th Engineers Battalion โ the same unit as Troy Linden, the soldier he's proposing the recreation center be named after. He named his son Troy Linden Montoya in honor of his fallen brother in arms.
Professionally, Sinuhe builds revenue growth systems and AI-powered business tools that help local companies scale. He brought those same skills โ data analysis, infrastructure, and organized execution โ to this civic advocacy campaign.
This project is both a community mission and a personal promise: to serve the city that gave his family a home, and to honor the people who never made it back.
Coalition members will appear here as the advisory group forms.
